Traumatic Stress


Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) are a prime cause of traumatic stress.  According to a recent survey, 64% of the respondents have undergone some type of ACE.  Therefore, understanding what ACEs are, how they can negatively affect student outcomes, what the symptoms of traumatic stress are, and how to provide support to students who are suffering from traumatic stress is critical.  This is a Coggle on how to help students with traumatic stress.
